Remembering Our Community Sanford - Springvale
Artists were invited to participate in the project.
The event, which had artists depicting our community through their chosen media, took place over the course of the month of August. Works have been submitted and an exhibition is located at the Sanford Springvale Art Gallery on Main Street in Sanford. The committee of three jurors, Nancy Coutts, a local artist, Harland Eastman, local historian, book writer and Historical Society member, and Lee Burnett, Sanford Town Grant writer selected three works to receive purchase prizes of $300 per piece. These selected works will be on permanent display in Sanford’s municipal buildings for residents and visitors to enjoy. This project “Remembering our Community – Sanford- Springvale ” will forever capture the scenes of our community through the Arts.
