| Linda Van Tassels’ “Rest Awhile”. “I chose this painting as most original because of the bold colors, a landscape, yet colors that are different. I like how the surface texture worked and the liquid quality of the trees.” |

| Eleanor Smith for “Flamenco Dancer”. The red shawl grabs your eye right off. The shape of her arms & the red flower in her hair direct you to her face.” |

| Paul Paris’ “Alice’s Tea Cups”. “I enjoyed this piece in particular for the use of patterning the whimsical shapes of the cups. If the cup was not off image in the left it would not be as refreshing. The etching quality is very effective in expressing the playful & light heartedness of the piece.” |

| Sheila Clough’s “Dock Square Shops”. “In this piece you are constantly moving to see every part. The sign to the light pole, up the street, then down. The darkness on the left balances out the sky at the right. Keeps the viewers’ attention.” |
