Anne Hodge

Anne was born in Boston, Massachusetts of artist parents. She was educated in Boston schools, majoring in art in high school. She attended the Massachusetts College of Art, receiving a BFA in Illustration and Design in 1955. Twenty years after graduating and raising her four children, she returned to MassArt and entered into one of their first programs for a Masters Degree. She graduated in 1975 with a Masters degree in Art Education and went on to teach art in the Andover, Massachusetts Public Schools for 23 years. She retired
in 1998. After retiring, she moved to Acton, Maine with her husband and returned to painting. She is a member of the Newburyport, Mass. Art Association and the Sanford Springvale Art Association.

She is currently a Vice President of that association.
